no one takes repeated flush shots by tito and survives to 12 rounds even money marg.

tito was ktfoing middleweights... money marg lost to middleweights.

    end of thread.

An old William Joppy and Hacine Cherifi, please. Mayorga was no Middle. The other two Middles he fought made him look elementary. I'm afraid to think what Margarito would have done to that version of Joppy and Cherifi.

        It doesn't matter.

Styles make fights, and if you don't see Tony's pressure favoring Tito, then I don't know what you're seeing.

You can't mention middleweight with Tony. Tito has done that alone, and that's move up in weight.

To say William Joppy is old in your post is like WTF? He was a champion wasn't he? Stop using old as an excuse. Look at Hopkins. Just because you're old doesn't mean nothing. Joppy got caught lovely.

As for Winky... He would make Tony look the same. Trust me. Same with Hopkins.

Campas had a great chin until he faced Tito, same would've happened with Tony. Tito had great stamina as well, could box too.

Similar fight than Tito/Mayorga. Margarito would've ate Tito's shots and would've been stopped within 8 rds. Tito used to throw too many combinations that Marg defense wouldn't be able to avoid anything.

Campas was not, is not and never will be Antonio Margarito. You all fail to realize that Tony would manhandle Tito, he's phyically bigger and stronger than Tito. He'd take Tito's shots and steamroll him late. Tito would not get off all those punches you all are imagining he would get off cuz Tony's output would be between 80 to 100 punches per round. Kermit hits harder than Tito and Tony walked through his **** like nothing.

Ummm to compare Joppy to Bernard is more WTF than saying Joppy was old and sucky when Tito fought him.

Back then Campas was a very good brawler with a relentless style, similar to Margarito, whether he was better or worse than Tony is now, I couldn't tell you, I can only say he was 55-0 with 50 KOs, everybody picked him to KO Tito. Reed and Vargas were bigger and stronger than Tito but Tito broke them down. Tony throws a lot of punches, but the real question is, would he throw that much getting caught everytime by a faster more accurate and harder hitting puncher in Tito? Mentioning Kermit and Tito on the same sentence is insane.

I am not comparing, just stating

"Stop using old as an excuse"

As in, look at Hopkins. He is old and still beating elite fighters. Joppy wasn't that old. He got caught early and it was all down hill for him.

Enough with the nonsense! When you use the word "Old" to describe a fighter.. You have no argument.

                    Stop it.

Son Tito takes him out or really really beats him up and ruins him forever!
Tony gets hit with every punch in the book and when those punches are coming from arguably the most vicious punching WW of all time in Felix Tito Trinidad then that is notthe recipe for a win!!!
Tito was as tall as Tony and although Marg looked bigger it was Trinidad who had moved up and won titles at two higher weights taking on bigger stronger foes but prevailing with his vaunted power!

Also Trinidad had all night long stamina and wouldnt gas if for some reason Tony was still standing
