Good post man!Just want to add Trinidad was put on his back at 147 a few times by guys smaller and less power than Margarito.Marg is a big ww.Although Trinidad had amazing power i believe Marg would be able to take em and eventually start landing his uppercuts which would break Trinidad sooner or later. Trinidad never learned to back off even when hurt he had too much pride and balls.I also believe Marg has and underrated defense which is better than Tito's denfense.Marg would eventually solve Titos 1 dimensional style and and breaks him down with uppercuts.I think Marg k.o Tito by 8 rds. in a amazing fight.

Tito had a FAR better defence than Tony! And although Trinidad never backed up when hurt did it hinder him? It made him the champion he was. If any of the 2 guys is one dimensional its Marg!

Not knocking your boy man. Tito was a gift from the boxing gods. But i just dont see how his defense is better than Marg. Tito never knew how to adapt and what he did not have in defense he made up with power. Just look at the Cotto fight Tony took away Cotto's body punches and Cotto is a much better technician than Tito. So how come Cotto never landed his amazing body punches that carried him to and undefeated record? Defense. Even if it came down to chins and power i still think Tony would beat Tito.But its just and opinion! So dont take it personal.

Hey i like em his chin is solid and he's as tough as nails but man i honestly cant think of a more one dimensional fighter!!!

Tony didnt adapt to overcome Cottos body shots he always has his elbows tucked down there, he aint open to body shots i'll give him that! Perhaps because he got dropped with a body shot early in his career?

Watch his fights with Kermit, there's more there than just eating shots and coming straight forward. He smothered and frustrated Kermit with horriblbe pressure (for Cintron). He took power off Cotto's shots with that pressure, constantly having Cotto on the move.

Margarito is a great offensive fighter, and he trust his chin to go forward, watch marg vs cintron fight, you'll see Margarito smiling while taking bombs, and then come back with some beautiful uppercuts, and body shots
