Unlike Cotto...Trinidad would never tire from bashing Margarito's head around....& Tito would certainly bash AM's head much harder/worse than Cotto did.

Don't give me the "Tito was one-dimensional" crap, because his limitations were only brought out against THE SLICKEST of fighters. A guy like Margarito is Tito's dream opponent. Slow, & open all night long.
Marg's chin keeps him around for a while, but his face is decimated......in 8.

If anyone is backing up, then it would be Margarito because Trinidad certainly wouldn't. Trinidad punches harder, has a great chin, is the better boxer and has more options of winning. Margarito is hit too much and i rank Trinidad behind Hearns and Robinson welterweight punchers. Margarito would be too tough for own good and it would take his corner or the referee to stop it. Margarito beat Cotto, a very good elite fighter with good skills but no where near Trinidad in terms of toughness, chin and punching power. I didn't mind it before, but now i must admit that people are starting to overrate this guy. Margarito is a good fighter but Trinidad is way above him. Prime Trinidad by stoppage.

You don't get it. Tito's favorite type of opponents are the Margarito types. You have NO RIGHTS fighting Tito if you don't have defense. Margarito is slow and very open. So your telling me Margarito can take Tito's right or left hooks??

Tito has 2 hand power and what you said doesn't make sense. Doesn't matter what type of boxer you are no stance ain't gonna restrict you from thowing a certain punch.

A "hook" is thrown with the lead hand. In Tito's case, he fights from a right handed stance and is known for his left hook. One of his favorite combos is the left hook right "cross".

First off, Miguel Cotto is a much better fighter than Felix Trinidad ever was. This always catches flack with Tito supporters but Trinidad was as one dimensional as one dimensional can get. He was a power puncher who always relied on the big shot to end the fight. Any time he was ever in over his head he showed a fundamental lack of ability to adapt. (See the first 8 rounds against Oscar, the entire Hopkins fight, and the Wright fight.)

Cotto is superior to Tito is ever possible aspect of the game, save for power punching. He can box when he needs to, he moves his head well, great ring movement, he's a better technician, etc....

Tito could not run from Tony, because A.) he's too prideful and B.) he's too ****** to know how. So his only choice would be to brawl Margarito. It then becomes a question of who's chin or body would break first, and that's up for debate.

One thing I know for sure is that if Trinidad couldn't take it, he wouldn't last as long as Cotto did because he isn't smart enough to get out of the way of incoming damage.

i think that your very very very wrong. First off early in titos career before he started moving up 2 middle weight he was a decent boxer 2 he had some boxing skills and he was pretty fast later in his career he decided to just rely more on his hook but you say against winky and oscar? Oscar moved the most he ever has in his life in that fight and still lost Margarito is not a runner and he will stay there just like mayorga who had never been knocked down in his career and that would be margos mistake and would eventually get Ko'd against trinidad. Trinidad at welterweight was a beast and cotto would be superior to him in the boxing part but he 2 makes mistakes like against mosley and judah and if he was fighting tito at WW he would get caught and he 2 would get ko'd.
