if any fight was a fluke it has to be the second. after all how can a 12 round boxing lesson be a fluke?

So, the Clottey Margarito fight is a definite go, right? Then I can see PWill and Quintana having a rubbermatch.
PWill takes him out in 10.

You know that makes a lot of sense actually since Williams doesn't have many options.

Quintana did a decent job of beating Williams up for 12 rounds..

The second fight was over way before anything about the 1st fight could really be deterimined...

Was it just a Lucky shot???

Should they Fight a 3rd fight???

Or do you think the 1st Fight was the fluke???
              None were! You idiot.

I don't mind them having a third fight but a first round knockout is as definitive a statement as you can get.
I agree NONE of the wins were a fluke.

I mean, aren't Cotto and Cintron supposed to be in negotiations? Mosely has Mayorga, and if Margarito and Clottey is a done deal, Berto's got Two pound, I really can't see anybody else right now for PWill. If I'm wrong, somebody correct me, I'm just going on what I have been picking up from this forum.

Well people could argue Williams was having an off night

According to the UK media (which is often wrong, to be fair), Paul Williams is going to fight Michael Jennings next.

                      Some info for you:

                      Age: 30
Record: 33-1(16KOs). Only defeat was via split decision
Reason for getting the fight: WBO mandatory challenger
                      Promoter: Frank Warren
Of his first 18 opponents, only one had a winning record

                      You remember Gary Lockett?

                      Age: 31
Record: 30-1(20KOs). Only defeat was via split decision
Reason for getting the fight: WBO mandatory challenger
                      Promoter: Frank Warren
Of his first 18 opponents, 13 had a winning record

He's basically Gary Lockett, but his opposition is worse, he hasn't avenged his defeat, and he doesn't punch as hard. And he's fought outside of the UK less.

Anyone wanna bet on this fight? I got Williams
