But some would have us believe that he has had a greater career than future Hall of Famers like Oscar, Floyd, or even Joe Calzaghe & Roy Jones.
Is he the most overrated boxer in history. Guys like David Reid, Edison Miranda, Tommy Morrison were overrated but I think Margarito just might take 1st place.

And he did "beat the **** out of Cotto" as you like to call it..but you can call him and ask him whether he earned that **** rightously wit all the bombs he took..
So as I said..and really think about this..let's say he loses again to Paul Williams..or even a Joshua Clottey..where do u think that would put him?..
I'll tell u where..Back out of the P4P rankings like he's always been..Beating the **** out of B-C Class opponents like he's always been..and calling out the best...like he's always been...
Nothing against him at all...I just feel that there's a rush of his "fans" who now make him out to be the second coming of Jesus..

The worse kind of ******ity and ignorance it the one that survives a formal education and even has the ability to comprehend its value, yet doesn't use the education recieved to formulate an opinion on it's surrounding. That's you.

How can you fight and beat elite fighters in the sport yet not be considered so yourself?
Because heart can overcome actual skill at times..
and this fight proved that statement..what would actually make Margarito an elite in the Boxing world?..his High work rate?..maybe..his iron chin?..ok?..or is it his tremendous speed...great footwork..stunning power..superior defense..or any other well-defined skill that would make him stand out?..
Bottom-line is..Him, his friends and family..and his down right #1 fans/stans can only credit him for 100+ punches per round..and his iron chin..
Again I'm not taking anything away from the man....he is a machine..but he's been exposed before..he can be exposed again..
