I dont think Rito is overrated, I notice that everytime a boxer wins in devastating manner then he gets talked about for about 3 good months, He had that with a lot of boxers on here in the past..E.G When Haye ko enzo people went overboard with how he would be so so and so.

i dont know about overrated but many fight fans can appreciate a boxer thay didnt get everything handed to them and actually put in hard work to achieve and earn their current status..
he's entertaining to watch, no prima-donna antics and he's flawed...some fans can relate to those types of fighters more than the PBF's or the DLH's in the sport

Well said. For someone to totally diss Marg because he hasn't signed the rematch with PWill is nothing more than sour g****s. If in fact you people are true boxing fans you would then realize and recognize what Marg has done even after fighting for so long and the 5 losses. He's always in great shape and even though one dimensional he gets the job done. He is a true showman, professional and warrior in the ring.

On the other hand he is not charismatic, flashy, loud, boisterous or obnoxious. He simply doesn't have to.

I think that it is some of us Marg fans that maybe a little over obsessed with him that make him not too likeable. If that is the case then take it out on the fans but give Margarito his due.

With 5 career losses Margarito has managed to hold alphabet titles in 1 division his entire career. He has no real amateur accomplishments. He has already been defeated by 1 of the other titleholders in the division. He is already 30 years old. But some would have us believe that he has had a greater career than future Hall of Famers like Oscar, Floyd, or even Joe Calzaghe & Roy Jones.

Is he the most overrated boxer in history. Guys like David Reid, Edison Miranda, Tommy Morrison were overrated but I think Margarito just might take 1st place.
