I like Donaire here. Hes a harder puncher and just as skilled. I like Mijares against brawlers like Montiel, Arce Darchinayin ect but he doesn't look quite as good in technical boxing matches. I favor Donaire by a close decision. He can not only box but could turn ****er when he needs to as well.

I was surprised by how close the fight with Munoz was early on. I thought for sure that Munoz was outgunned technically, but somehow his jab and aggression kept him inside of the storm. To me the fight was a big letdown.

I’d love to say Donaire but that Mijares is one sound boxer…I guess we’ll see what kind of beard he has if Nonito gets thru

I need to see him more not just with a sloppy darchy and a small maldanado.. a man that Montiel took out in 3 rounds compared to donaires 8th round victory...????

Remember, Maldonado was KO'ed by Donaire before Montiel got to him. That same Maldonado battled Mijares to a draw.

This would be a fight for pace control.

A slower pace would allow Donaire's power and accuracy to shine as he gets to pick openings in Mijares's defense.

A faster more active pace would let Mijares's athleticism shine and overwhelm Donaire who would not be allowed the space or time to think about his next move

Mijares (should) have won but Donaire beat him worse is what I think sweet revenge is getting at.
