In his Prime did Roy Jones avoid Big Puches?

Julian jackson, terry norris, gerald mccelan, nigel benn, mike tyson and lennox lewis all could of been matched against jones in his prime on his rise up from middleweight champion to heavy. Also now that roys rflexes are gone are we seeing his true chin? cos in his prime it was hard to get him with a power shot cos u had to comit your self which ment if you missed you payed by takeing a 6 punch combanation to the face

You can't learn to take a punch. Roy's jaw was always vulnerable to big power shots, but it didn't matter in his prime cuz he was too ****in fast for anybody to actually hit him flush.

None of those people could have been matched against him. Lewis was too big, and the others were too old

its not all about having a big punch, he showed against ruiz it takes more than a big punch to do the buisness.. he was too talented for most fighters

The notion of Lewis fighting Roy is ludicrous. He would have KOd him very early. Roy wasn't a real HW.

Looking at Jones biggest wins, its hard to disagree. Even though I think he'd probably beat Nigel Benn with his superior skill, speed and technique, I think Benn wouldve made him **** his pants. Benn didnt give a ****, it was knockout or get knocked out and he managed to get to someone as accomplished as McClellan so cracking one on Jones chin wouldnt have been out of the question.

Lewis retired when Roy called him out. They do not correlate but that was the reason that bout didn't heat up.

Lennox Lewis would've sent Roy into a coma!

Nearly ever top yank fighter between 160-175 dodged Benn. Christ knows why? Roy would've beaten him but Benn was all heart and didn't give a ****!
