it really depends on if he is really retired or not. but i say more power too him if he does stay retired. why do we have to see him slip a little and get caught like jones did. he was arguably the best p4p when he did retire so most should think highly as a fighter of him in 20 years.
20 years from now, what we will remeber floyd for?

Thats the thing, Clegg.I hope so, but I'm not sure.
Before he retired, he had the biggest money fight possible (de la Hoya) and there was a firmly established top challenger (Cotto).
But de la Hoya will be retired, and there is no top guy because the best 3/4 guys have all suffered losses in the last year or two.
I suppose there is a small chance of him fighting Pacquiao, but I can't see it happening and it would be strongly criticised unless Mayweather was going down in weight rather than Pac coming up.
We can sit here all we want, and piss and moan about who he didn't fight.
That's not why I'm here about, though.
Do you really think Pac has a chance against Mayweather? I mean, REALLY?
I think, at this moment right now, that Mayweather could came back to the sport, and beat everybody at WW.
Would PWill be a challenge? Maybe.
Pac vs. Mayweather at 140? I'd put my everything I owned on that.
It's not like Tyson vs Douglas, bud.
What people tend to forget is, Mayweather has been BORN into it.Comment

I want someone to make the gospels of Antonio Margarito thread.. and provide
such Proverbs as "After these things the word of the Bob Arum came unto Margarito in a vision, saying, Fear not, Margarito: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."
these bible verses have to be funny though.
I will donate 15k to whoever makes the thread.Last edited by Pico Hollywood; 08-16-2008, 05:14 PM.Comment
