A really great fighter that is a top 50 guy. We will also remember him as a guy that he coulda been the next Leonard but failed because he didnt take on some HOF's like Cotto(i am just assuming this). Coulda been a top 15 guy.

He will be remembered by his superior boxing abilities and the lack of effort in the ring!!

An all time great who beat future hall of famers de la hoya, corrales, castillo, hatton and gatti. The best pure boxer i have seen besides jones, robinson and learnard. I think he would of beat cotto, but would of got worn down and stoped later on against margreatio, just to big for floyd.

I'd say Mayweather will be remembered as a very good fighter, actually a great fighter who didn't take the risks necessary to become an all-time great, like Ali, Robinson and Leonard did.
