Rogelio you're cool with me and it's nothing personal. But I think what Diaz said was BS. I tend not to believe things like this when they are said long after the fact. Diaz and Margarito never said one thing about this leading up to the Williams-Quintana fight. Margarito has never bitten his tongue about anything before. If this was true, I'm sure Margarito would have made it clear at some point before now. It seems like a convenient way of excusing him for avoiding the rematch. I don't blame Margarito 100 percent though. I blame that assshole promoter of his.

hey man i dont need to hear nothing from williams. the rematch did not happen and margarito has shown proof he asked for the immediate rematch. williams did not want it. and like margarito said williams wasnt calling margarito name after he destroyed johnson and cintron. paul williams feared for his life. he knew he was lucky to survive the tornado the first time!!!!

margarito asked for the rematch right after the fight. his manager tried to enforce the mandatory and williams knew he was ruined so he ducked margarito to take an easy fight quintana. but he did realize he was so ruined by margarito that even quintana was to much for him. and where was williams saying margaritos name when he was destroying johnson and cintron???

Dude P W was geting rocked late and won because Margs started late or Paul was better early. But late it was a different story. Williams was not in a rush to fight Margs because he knew that he BARELY won on Margs worst night, and his own BEST night.

Williams knows the punishment he took in that fight and didnt want anymore of it. He NEVER called Margs out, until AFTER he beat Cotto. It is obvious he is wanting Margs now because of the money. It is a calculated risk.

Back then it would have been a high risk fight with no payday. Now the payday comes into play and its a different story.
