Bull****!!! No such thing happened. Margarito never wanted an immediate rematch. Nice way of sending someone on a wild goose chase to suggest looking far back in the achives. How far back should I look, maybe go as far back as 1970?

It just the dumb margarito haters that had nothing to say so they come up with this margarito is scared and ducking williams when the truth comes out its williams who was ducking and declined the immediate rematch. His big mouth attention whore can shut up now and wait in line.

You can't lie about sending a letter to boxingscene and the wbo demanding and have been granted an immediate rematch only to have it declined by williams. I hope the wbo comes out and defends the truth. williams is dying for attention
He sent a letter stating that he thought he won, and maybe that he asked or a rematch we don't know. Was there a rematch clause? This letter will not justify anything in favor of Margs. If Margs had a rematch clause, legally Williams would either have to honor that clause and rematch Margs, or vacate the title. Margs did not sound like he wanted a rematch after the fight. The letter he sent was his disappointent in the scoring because he thought he won. If he did ask for a rematch in that letter, and there was NO rematch clause, he had no leg to stand on. Margs didn't think he would lose, and probably didn't want a rematch clause. You are mad at fans saying Margs didn't want a rematch. That's because you were arguing with fans "not" in the know of things like this.

Your an ok guy but all this is, is cheap bull**** manager talk. To me anyways, anything said by anyone in the boxing world means little. Words are cheap when comming from the mouths of people that are being paid to talk. I hold everyone to this standard though.

I'd say the difference is Margarito's stock after his lost to Paul was extremely low. He was getting hyped up for supposedly scaring Mayweather and all of that Mexican hype bull ****, but after the loss his resume looked even worse. Williams had no reason to offer him a rematch because what little Margarito brought to the table was all ready gone.

It's different now as Margarito now has chips to bring to the table again.
