On the subject of Haye, I'm kinda disappointed that Klitschko has given in to all Haye's 'smack talk' and is going to give him a title shot in early 2009. This gives Haye no incentive to earn his title shot, like former undisputed cw champ Evander Holyfield did in the 80's, and will likely take the softest opponent possible, if any...

Exactly. Haye should have to earn it by fighting tough HWs.

I don't understand why his fans want him to have a free pass. I've not once heard them clamor for a fight like Haye-Dimitrenko, Haye-Chagaev, Haye-Thompson, etc.

He would likely lose any of those, but so be it. Let Wlad have the glory.

I guess that's the upside; Klitschko wants this fight and has stated he would like to fight in the hostile territory the O2 arena would be....

I see the fanatics are running with the idea that Haye calling out Klit is to cash out with a big pay day, rather than the fact the just wants to fight the best to prove he is the best as he did in the Cruiserweight division in less that 25 fights.

I can sense the fear, Hayemaker has given you all sleepless nights, the terror begins this fall..............

            Hostile to Wlad?

He'd have to fight in Haye's kitchen to be in a hostile environment. Wlad is popular everywhere. Every man who follows boxing and can also spell is a hardcore Wlad fan.

              You are kidding.

I want Wlad to fight Haye.

But I'd also like to see some other HWs get their chance. I think about fifteen of them would be solid favorites over Haye. There is no fear of this guy. He's simply an unskilled boxer who is too small for HW.

If I were any heavyweight on the verge of the top-20 I would be dying to fight Haye.

Why do you think Eddie Chambers and James Toney are calling him out?

This is their shot at getting back in the spotlight. But Chambers has no chance at getting the fight, which I think would be about 50-50, maybe with Haye as a slight favorite.

I would actually like to see David Haye fight Oliver McCall.

Chambers I would favor over Haye, the oddsmakers obviously would not
