IMO it's a fight Haye should be gunning for, I expect Haye-Toney to be announced some time in the next two weeks however.
Now, that's a fight I want to see bad. Knowing Toney, that old fat ****er will be happy to take it, too.

Any purported fights on the horizon? Is he a sparring partner for any top hw’s?...
German tabloid BILD today reports that Dimitrenko is likely to square off against Luan Krasnigi in the fall possibly in Stuttgart. This would be a rescheduling of a fight from which Dimitrenko pulled out of earlier due to a financial dispute.

If he wins that fight, he will sure get a title shot in the 2009.

I saw a few of his fights a while back, he looks looked like a good Euro Champ standard. Tall, athletic and does the basics well. Good jab too.

But as many German based prospects, he is very untested.

As far as him and David Haye, it would be a good challenge for both. I dont see this happening to be honest. Dimitrenko will get a shot at the WBO title by staying put. Wlad may end up being stripped of the title sooner or later
depending on the choices he makes so Dimitrenko may fight for a vacant title.

I dont see him risking his ranking by fighting Haye. He is the number 1 contender without taking any risks so far. Why change now when he is so close.

It's hard to say because he's been fighting at home a lot against journeyman level competition, but he is young, has a solid amateur background and has the size of a 21st century heavyweight.

He will be WBO mandatory, and maybe IBF mandatory also (he was ranked behind only Povetkin).

Wlad will have to fight him in '09.

Dimitrenko would be more than a test for Haye it would be a highly competitive fight. He will come up short at the highest level though.

based on what evidence? Don't judge him until his opponent is announced. Even then our current HW champion has fought his fair share of lame ducks as has Dimitrenko so stfu.

Haye is calling out Wladimir Klitschko, irrefutable proof he is scared of the tough challenges.

                      I mean the opposite.
