this would be the perfect fight to get Haye ready for Wlad. when it comes to style, size, speed and strength Dimitrenko would be the best matchup for Haye to prepare for wlad but, I think this fight would not happen. I don't think Dimi or Haye would risk fighting each other because they are both already secured to fight for the championship title without having to face each other.

I think Kali Meehan would probably be the best route for Haye if he wants to play it safe and also to prepare for Wlad.

      It annoys me too.

I'm liking Universum as a promoter less and less as time goes on.

Haye is not taking any interim fights; he's schedule to face Wlad in June. As for Dimitrenko, he should fight some top ten guys. As far as I know, his name hasn't come up as a possible opponent for either Klitschko and for Valuev/Chagaev. He's gotta make a name for himself by beating some top guys.

Any Dimitrenko news? I think Dimitrenko was waiting for a title shot, but it looks like all the belts are tied up until the 4th quarter of this year. This guy needs to get back into the ring...

based on what evidence? Don't judge him until his opponent is announced. Even then our current HW champion has fought his fair share of lame ducks as has Dimitrenko so stfu.
what has hes done at hw tell me? Beat macca who some bum just tore apart, and monte barrett who was beaet by wladimir 8 years ago. Dimitrenko would ko haye

              Still no news.

His promoter Universum is doing a poor job - he definitely should have a fight scheduled by now.

Dimintrenko is a very slick, fluid boxer. Despite his skills, he isn't a big puncher, but has heavyweight power. It took him 12 rounds to finally knock out Timo Hoffmann, despite outclassing him for 12 rounds.

Ranked in the top 5 by all 4 major organizations (#1 by the WBO and #2 by the IBF) there is no excuse for him not to fight top level competition or a championship belt right now.

I consider myself environmentally conscious so I’ll recycle this thread. Anyone heard anything about Dimitrenko? He was scheduled to rematch Krasniqi in December but I think Luan got injured. In any case, this guy is a decent prospect but he needs to fight more frequently to get the experience he needs…

Put him against Platov so Oleg can khtfo and we won't have to see Sasha again.
