Well, Teddy Atlas already doomed Margarito if he rematches Cotto...
But really, I think Cotto will be back. That fight wasn't so much as what Cotto didn't do, as much as Cotto hit Margarito with everything and the kitchen sink, and just still kept on coming....

I was watching the fight again last night and a couple things stuck out to me. This fight reminds me of Hagler-Mugabi A LOT.

No, I don't think Cotto will be the same- he took some hellacious shots while tired. That can damage you pretty badly.

And, another thing...I don't know if Margarito will be the same either. Mugabi was ruined after Hagler but the Marvelous one wasn't quite the same either. And I wonder if Margarito who, took quite a few shots as well (along with taking quite a few throughout his career) can maintain those heights. Such a shame since this isn't even his prime. Too bad the elite didn't want to fight him then.

If Cotto fights Cintron he really needs to win, I think if he stops Cintron it could put him back on track. I really hope the loss to Margarito didn't effect him mentally in a bad way, because that would be a huge disappointment. I am still behind him 100% though.....
