Yeah true punching up would take that bit more out of you. Seems I could have been wrong about the reachs as well. I looked it up on boxing rec there and it says margarito had a 73 - 67 reach advantage but I am nearly sure coverage of the fight had them at the same reach despite the height difference. If I am wrong about that then I take back what I said.

Im pretty sure they said on fight nite the reach was the same, which shocked me. Ud think HBO would be right but Box rec sounds more beleivable, someone will clear it up soon im sure ( I cant be arsed!)

Bingo. Margs cleans up... IF and thats a Big If... he can beat williams.. and Cotto doesnt try and come in somewhere unless he goes after Berto

IF Cotto wants the shot (and he has said he wants a rematch in the near future) im sure Bob will get him it and Id bet on Miguel getting revenge over the distance with a UD!

thats good at least im not imaging it then lol yeah boxing rec seems more likely and would negate most of if not all of my argument. was checking on williams stats as well he has like 82 inch reach longer than klitchko at 81 crazy. i can see why he gave margarito a tough time as from what i hear along with that size he is fast and skillfull, I havent seen that fight as yet though.

I dont know what to think about this guy. I am a Cotto fan but margarito put on one hell of a performance and for that i give him respect.

However i believe that he should be a jnr Middleweight and has made a career of bullying smaller opponents

Except: Cintron who has no boxing ability and just looks for that one big K.O punch and cant take body shots

Now this is the bit that gets me. He is calling out Oscar but he has unfinished business with Williams and hasnt even mentioned his name once since the Cotto fight which would like like he is scarred.

He says that Williams is not big box office and all you Margo fans agree but why was it so differant when floyd done it to Margo?

He claims to be the most feared man in boxing but i would say since he fears Williams, Williams takes that crown.

Williams is the only boxer in the Welterweight division bar Berto (Protected and still young) who has beaten every opponent he has faced at welter so he is the No.1 welter in ther world imo.

However Margarito has had a hard career and is now on top and i would not grudge him a few easy big money fights against Zab and Oscar if that is what he wishes but he should at least tell the boxing world of his plans for Williams before he starts slagging off Oscar for trying to fight the smaller guy in manny, he has been doing it for years

I said earlier that i peronally think he has a LM frame but if he makes the weight he deserves to be in the division.

Williams and Clottey two boxers who were his size and he struggles,

Fair play the santos fight i believe that he would have won but it wasnt looking like a walk in the park.

His main weapons are his size and his work rate. Take away his size and then all he has is work rate.

Williams boxing technique vs Margarito's work rate i give it to Williams technique 70% of the time. Thats my own personal opinion.

I believe that Margarito and Williams are in the same boat. The imo should are perfect for LM but if they can make the ww weight limit i have no grumbles about it.
