Did it ever occur to you that the reason he "seems" so big for his division is because he keeps himself in impeccable condition, never falls out of shape and therefore is extremely strong like a Bernard Hopkins?

And finally, I should point out that Margarito's last two losses came against one guy who weighed 170lbs. on fight night, and another guy with a super middleweight frame who absolutely towered over Margarito when they fought.
In other words, Margarito was taking on fighters WAY bigger than he was, not even his own size. Therefore, isn't it hypocritical to say Margarito has been bullying smaller fighters than him and so he should fight bigger fighters than him?
i cant argue with your reply and stated in my post he has taken on bigger men than himself. His conditioning is amazing but whenever he has fought anyone his own size he has struggled appart from Cintron who is very over rated in my opinion.

I am not a margarito hatter i just think that he is a bully and not that great a boxer. but hey... he gets the job done and thats all that counts.

Williams, Clottey and santos, the only person his own size he has coped well against is Cintron and thats because he is a 1 trick pony

Williams is bigger than Margarito. By a lot.

Santos is too, weighing 170lbs on fight night.

He beat Clottey after a slow start - which is pretty much been his whole career. But still, that's just one fight. So how can you make the assumption that whenever he fights someone his own size he struggles and then list two people who were BIGGER than him as examples?

Lol at Williams being Pavlik size and Margarito beating Mayweather (Being a walk at the park) Your intentions are to go with whats wrong in your mind but I'm happy to know, that you know whats right.

If u can make the weight its ur division. Cotto was the bigger heavier guy when he fought at 140, now he cant make it so he aint the big guy no more.

I dont blame Tony for wanting a big money fight 1st, its been a long hard road to get to the top, let him have a money THEN fight Williams again. I mean he already gave Punisher the shot when he didnt have to, he lost. Now he's back infront of Paul in the pecking order again and will fight him but give him the money fight 1st. Plus he just went to War with the hardest puncher in the division in Cintron and had that gruelling battle with Cotto (deemed the divisions best) in back to back fights!

I think some fans are a bit harsh on him, probably coz of his fan boys!
