I'm not sure if he is actually the one not wanting a Williams fight because Arum said he doesn't want to work with Al Haymon anymore who is part of Williams' team.

Margarito wanting the DLH fight is definitely understandable although I don't think the fight will happen, I have a feeling Margarito-Clottey 2 will happen towards the end of the year and that should answer a few questions that some fans might have after their first fight.

I think Margarito is a better fighter than he was then and would take it on points as long as he did not get off to a slow start like he usualy does

I'm going with Margarito but I give Clottey a pretty good chance at winning.

Now this is the bit that gets me. He is calling out Oscar but he has unfinished business with Williams and hasnt even mentioned his name once since the Cotto fight which would like like he is scarred.

He says that Williams is not big box office and all you Margo fans agree but why was it so differant when floyd done it to Margo?

He claims to be the most feared man in boxing but i would say since he fears Williams, Williams takes that crown.

Williams is the only boxer in the Welterweight division bar Berto (Protected and still young) who has beaten every opponent he has faced at welter so he is the No.1 welter in ther world imo.

However Margarito has had a hard career and is now on top and i would not grudge him a few easy big money fights against Zab and Oscar if that is what he wishes but he should at least tell the boxing world of his plans for Williams before he starts slagging off Oscar for trying to fight the smaller guy in manny, he has been doing it for years

Why do you feel he's too big for his weight class when he's been making weight since he was what, 15?

Did it ever occur to you that the reason he "seems" so big for his division is because he keeps himself in impeccable condition, never falls out of shape and therefore is extremely strong like a Bernard Hopkins?

And finally, I should point out that Margarito's last two losses came against one guy who weighed 170lbs. on fight night, and another guy with a super middleweight frame who absolutely towered over Margarito when they fought.
In other words, Margarito was taking on fighters WAY bigger than he was, not even his own size. Therefore, isn't it hypocritical to say Margarito has been bullying smaller fighters than him and so he should fight bigger fighters than him?

Hmm the thing is though boxing is done on weight not height.

Maybe you'd have more of an argument for people who weigh in fight night heavier such as Hatton coming in about 147.
