Boof clearly and plainly tried to make it sound as if Pacquiao was at fault for the rematch not taking place sooner, which is obviously not the case. That was my whole point from the word go. If he doesn't like a fighter he'll make lies up to slander that fighter. Just like if he doesn't like a poster he'll make up lies to slander that poster. Its just his way. Has been for the past 8 or 9 years I've posted with him.

LOOK at his last 4 fights, which were against his BEST opponents. RICKY HATTON, undersized and lacking in skill, who KO'd himself by ramming his head into a ring post. AND...it took 10 rounds for that. OSCAR DE LA HOYA, an over age, rusty, long past his best good fighter who, many think, actually should have got the decision, or at least a draw. CARLOS BALDOMIR... there's nothing really to sayabout Carlos, with 9 losses, who only got his exalted position by beating a discouraged and lazy Zab Judah. He didn't so much beat him as that Zab gave it to him.
AND....ZAB JUDAH, the most easily discouraged fighter in the ring today, who lasted 11 rounds. All the rest of his opponents were B-or C fighters.....except for Castillo #1 where most believed that Castillo had won.
Except for Baldomir, it was his opponents who drew the crowds. And of course people were hoping that he'd get beaten. This does NOT thanslate into "followers"........Not in MY opinion.
One problem he had....and has...is that he forgot why his handlers picked the nickname "Pretty Boy" for him. He began to think it was because of his appearance and good looks, when, you only need to look at him to know differently. It was because he was named "Floyd". The FAMOUS "Pretty Buy" was "Pretty Boy" CHARLIE ARTHUR FLOYD, the infamous bank-holdup gangster of the early and middle 1930's, PUBLIC ENEMY #1, who got a grip on the American imagination during the depression. Every pulp magazine had a story patterned after Pretty Boy Floyd or John Dillinger.
I'm glad Mayweather is retired, and has stopped throwing thousands of dollars from casino balconies. There';s only a certain amount of ignorance and vulgarity we can stand in our sporting figures, and he reached it a long time ago. Just my opinion.

Floyd only got 30%? Wow I didn't know that one. Manny should take the split if that's the case because you KNOW this fight won't be bigger than that one.

It's no secret that Floyd refused to fight Marg for 8 million. That's old news. On regards to Cotto, that's another topic.
You have to admit though, even Floyd states he has his own limitations. His hands are getting pretty bad, and flat out doesn't want boxing to "retire" him.
What are you trying to argue? That Floyd DID fight all the best welterweights?
As a fan of his, and even IF you don't believe he ever dodged anyone, wouldn't you want to see him in with Marg or Cotto?

He nearly always "stank out the house" with every fight, and couldn't even half fill the arena in his home town.
