joe calzaghe vs jermaine taylor

Yep, his schooling of Robin Reid was impressive. hehe...
But anyway, on topic. I don't think it would really put him on par with Joe. Taylor got 2 close wins over a younger B Hop, but stuggled against 2 smaller guys in Ouma and Spinks, lost twice to Pavlik, you know it. I don't think a couple of good wins would make him even IMO, But he would have a solid resume if he could beat Kessler for a title.Comment

its not impossible that that limited fighter you speak of could beat or even knock out calzaghe.
another note... I read in an article explaining why calzaghe wasn't relevant when jones was campaiining at super middle weight that the belt calzaghe held for so long wasn't really thought of as a championship belt kinda like the ibo belt is now. so maybe those defense didn't mean as much as were lead to believe. kinda like someone defending a nabo belt foreverComment

I'm not angry. I just arrive on the boards only to be greeted with thread upon thread of crap. Couldn't some of these people at least try to know WTF they are talking about? ****, maybe I am angry.
I'm still laughing at my avvy though.Comment

same reason hamed , another wbo champ , couldn't unify all the belts even though he beat EVERY single wbc , wba , ibf title holder at 126 in his time.
mitchell was wba champ 3 months before he fought calzaghe. reid was wbc champ about a year before he fought joe as well.
the fights just couldn't be made when they were the champ.Comment
