We'll see. My opinion is that you really overrate Pavlik and massively underrate Calzaghe. Kelly has never been in with someone like Joe, and I'm absolutely certain that should they fight Joe will make Kelly look very limited. You don't agree, and thats cool, we all have our opinion , so all we can do now is hope they fight.

I know, Kessler fights like a *****, he flinches everytime someone throws a punch or at least pretends to. Pavlik is so much tougher than him, to compare the 2 is just ******.

The difference is that Calzaghe is way better than Cotto, and Pavlik not as much of a beast as Margarito. Margs chin allows him to keep on coming. Pavlik won't be able to ignore Joe's shots in the same way. I wouldn't even be surprised if Joe turned out to be the stronger man. I agree that at some point, Joe will stand and trade with Pavlik, and I think you'll be surprised that Pavlik will not be able to hurt him and force him back. Even if Pavlik can hurt Joe, this will just make him tighten up his game and outbox Pavlik.

Calzaghe is not way better than Cotto. Way better chin, yes but technically, Cotto is notches above JC, who just always looks sloppy to me.

This current version of Calzaghe has no power, none. He will not hurt Pavlik at all. But I don't think his ego and machismo will allow him to merely box all the way- if he's gonna try to slug it out with Pavlik, he'll get stunned in the same way Kessler stunned him. It was only when he stopped trying to trade did he nullify Kessler.

But I don't Pavlik would mentally implode and become as disheartened as Kesser. He's going to keep on coming. Pavlik is a young, tough bastard and has elite level experience that Kesser and Lacy didn't have.

I'd honestly favour Pavlik. Joe is not this wonderful, pure boxer you think he is, and Pavlik is not as one-dimensional as Kessler and Lacy.

Let's just hope Joe doesn't end his career after his Seniors tour.
