Corrales is much more of a hall of famer than Gatti was. Corrales actually had to take tough fights, and was always competitive. Gatti, as much as I love him, got an easy path through the title picture. Corrales went to war with Castillo, Casamayor, Freitas, he was just the real deal.

I'm not sure but I think Corrales makes a better argument than Gatti to be in the HOF.

That has nothing to do with it. Corrales was a top fighter in a lot of people's pound for pound lists for a long-time before his career took a nose dive towards the end.

Nobody in their right mind was putting Gatti in their lists.

Corrales was definitely get a posthumous induction into the HOF. Gatti, however, just doesn't have the credentials to get in.
