nice- heavyweight would be good for you. don't stay at super heavy. then in the pros you could either fight cruiser or light heavy (with the added benefit of the weigh-in being the day before the fight, you could really sweat off some pounds and still have time to rehydrate). anyway, work early = bed time for me now. later yalls!
I got a question and wants a real answer, Is 24 to old to turn Pro?

Its all good homie. I appreciate the words. **** your 21, you can do what ever, you want. And money issues suck. I have had my share especially growing up. Imagine being as white as me, growing up either in the barrio or the hood. **** wasnt fun. But its all good now. You got to go through the bad to appreciate the good. And like I told the last dude, If I can make it out and live how Im living, then you sure as hell can. You've might have been an ass on this forum, but its cool kid.
The sport is about dedication.. If you say to yourself that you wanna turn pro, then you can do it. Get some sparring in, get back in shape.. Make good use of those 6 months. Don't everexert yourself though.. I've done that alot, but yea. Its never to old son. Age aint ****.. Untill you're like 30 or some**** you feel me.
Like "The Greatest" said.
"Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision." -Muhammad Ali
If you have a desire to box, then do it. Age aint **** bro.
Boxing is lucky im going through finacial issues. Its me by myself.. If it wasn't for that.. My ass would've been got them Golden Gloves.. Im turning 21 and im not stopping just yet.. Yea its only 21, but I feel old.. So I would understand why you're asking if 24 is to old.
Take those 6 months.. Train your ass off. No interuptions. You'll be in shape in no time. When you think you're not in shape.. That's when you're ****ed.. its all in the mind. Don't even think about it. Mind plays games with you. Treat the mind as if its an X you're trying to aviod. FORGET ABOUT IT!

damn son especially given the fact that you'll be at heavy or cruiserweight their starting limit is even older by a huge amount. for a flyweight to lightweight I'd say anything over 20-22 is way too late because those guys' bodies are done by age 28. But for a heavy guy **** you can turn pro at 35 if you haven't abused your body at all in your life and still make a couple waves, though realistically I'd consider anything over 30 a tad too old but 24 na hell no. Given the fact that it's possible to get to fighting shape in half a year, and then given the fact that it's possible to get 20 fights under your belt in 2-3 years, that would mean (let's just pretend that you won them all) that by age 26 going on 27 you could be going in for your first top 10 and/or regional title shot and that's nothing, some poeple don't get that shot til their mid 30's so you've got more than enough time.Comment
