good reason, don't let the what if's get you.

you have a very realistic chance to do this, why not?

If you read my first post, you know I am feeling you. It sucks when your family isnt as as financially secure as others. Dude, take me for example, and I am not saying this to brag or boast, but we didnt have anything, but I worked my ass off and got a decent paying job nad I am living alright. If I can do it, you can do it.

Yeah, I work so much that I kind of put boxing to the side. But I will certainly dedicate myself this time around. My friend is gonna go pro and I taught him EVERYTHING he knows. Now it my turn. Maybe by April or May of next year, I will have my first PRO fight.

but really....24 isn't old.....just as long as you get back in shape and start training more you'll be ok.

yes, you're too old. kill yourself.....

jk. nah man, youre good to go if your hearts in it. lots of world champs started their careers late- nate cambell, hopkins, tarver, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, etc....

my advice.... get in the gym. train your balls off. get some good sparring. i think you should get some more amateur fights under your belts.. fight in the gloves this year. at least if you win, you are in a position to get better management. if you lose, you got some great experience and you've lost nothing. good luck!

Yeah thats what I was thinking about doing. I know I could win GG. I wouldnt even be fighting in the open class though. I think it would be weak for me to beat up on some 17-18 years olds when I am 24. I have no doubt I can easily win it here in Houston. But I kind of feel like that would be a cheap win. I want to test myself more than anything.

Those where different times.. I'd say 21 should be the oldest tops if you are gonna turn pro.
