.............pacman also will not blow up to 147........the extra weight, not saying it will be a non-factor, but adding 4-6 pounds, if he does it right shouldn't be a factor in the fight. the problem will simply be fighting a BIGGER man, who has a helluva chin and packs a punch....................
but lets also not forget, gettin down to 147, which is the weight he MUST weigh in on, will not be a walk in the park for oscar either. he, in turn, faces the possibility of draining himself.........
but adding 4-5 lbs. shouldn't tire pacman out, he'll come in NO HEAVIER than about 140.
i do agree with morales that this fight is a fraud. but i'll watch and hope manny beats the **** outta oscar..........Comment

Morales is right! I said it before....this fight is sickening
Margarito has stopped the IBF and WBA 147lb champs in just a 3 month span.....what else does a fighter DLH's size have to do to get him in the ring and earn some nice pocket money in the process?!? Margarito is the ONLY fight for DLH!Comment

Mexican great Erik Morales, who faced Manny Pacquiao three times during his career, gave his thoughts on the proposed bout between Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya on December 6 in Las Vegas. If the fight gets made, Pacquiao would have to move up from lightweight to an agreed upon of 147-pounds. Morales says the extra pounds that Pacquiao will pack on is going to tire him out due to the rapid climb in weight. [details]
I'm surprised that Sulieman has actually spoken so openly anout Oscar, calling the fight and Oscar as defrauding the public.
I'd really like Morales to remain retired.Comment

EM is right. pac can't be strong at 147 and the fight is a mismatch. I just don't buy DLH blowin off the Pac fight to face Marg. Risk is too ****in high. If Winky would accept peanuts I think DLH would think about it, but he probably ain't got the guts for that either, even this late in Winky's career.Comment
