just out of curiosity, how many weight classes did RJJ jump to fight Ruiz at heavy weight? And how many weight divishions did DLH jump to fight Hopkins?

Damn it, Oscar, fight someone your own size. If you wanna go out fighting the best, then fight Antonio Margarito.

.............pacman also will not blow up to 147........the extra weight, not saying it will be a non-factor, but adding 4-6 pounds, if he does it right shouldn't be a factor in the fight. the problem will simply be fighting a BIGGER man, who has a helluva chin and packs a punch....................

but lets also not forget, gettin down to 147, which is the weight he MUST weigh in on, will not be a walk in the park for oscar either. he, in turn, faces the possibility of draining himself.........

but adding 4-5 lbs. shouldn't tire pacman out, he'll come in NO HEAVIER than about 140.

i do agree with morales that this fight is a fraud. but i'll watch and hope manny beats the **** outta oscar..........

Morales is right! I said it before....this fight is sickening
Margarito has stopped the IBF and WBA 147lb champs in just a 3 month span.....what else does a fighter DLH's size have to do to get him in the ring and earn some nice pocket money in the process?!? Margarito is the ONLY fight for DLH!

Although I don't care overmuch for Morales' personality, I have a deep respect for him as a boxer, and would certainly listen carefully to whatever he said about boxing. There's no doubt that he's correct in everything he's said about this scandalous fight.

I'm surprised that Sulieman has actually spoken so openly anout Oscar, calling the fight and Oscar as defrauding the public.

I'd really like Morales to remain retired.

EM is right. pac can't be strong at 147 and the fight is a mismatch. I just don't buy DLH blowin off the Pac fight to face Marg. Risk is too ****in high. If Winky would accept peanuts I think DLH would think about it, but he probably ain't got the guts for that either, even this late in Winky's career.

If Oscar gets to fight with 10 oz gloves the fight is a joke and Manny has no chance. He needs 8 oz gloves and a 147 lb maximum to even have a look at winning.
