Calazaghe defended his WBO belt against bums, or way past their primes champions. the only credible wins for Calzaghe are against a shot Eubank, Jeff Lacy, and a way past his prime Hopkins.
hamed was a wbo champion. he beat every wbc , ibf and wba champion he fought.

brewer was a ibf champion at 168. mitchell was a wba champion at 168. reid was a wbc champion at 168. do you know what they all had in common? they all lose to joe.

the only significant fighter at 168 that joe didn't beat was sven ottke. i seriously doubt that joe was the one that didn't want to fight him.

who did bernard beat during his reign at 160 before tito? glengoffe was the best fighter he beat during that time imo.

      Honest.
It doesn't surprise me to see such a post from you considering you are an idiot.

          It is Joe...

His best win is Eubanks... a guy who last two fights were in Dubai and Egypt. Who did Eubanks beat in those last two fights you ask? A fighter who had lost 4 in a row, the other had 12 W vs fighters with no/none/nada wins.

People like to pimp Hopkins as well, lets not bs about that but he did beat Tarver. The legit/linear/ring LHW champ and did so quite handily as an old old man. I think that seals his greatness after his record 20 middleweight defenses.

i consider both great fighters but NOT all-time great.

but if you hear people talk about both , you'd think they were sugar ray robinson or something.

hopkins run of defenses at 160 are not that impressive.

if you are gonna bash joe's resume you better not uphold bernard's because the middleweight division wasn't much better than super middleweight.
            hopkins is a legend.

Of course not by your definition. You are a Tua fan what else would you expect.

                      what does that mean?

a fighter doesn't have to be great for you to be a fan of them. hopkins beat oscar , tito and glengoffe. i'd rather watch those 3 fight than bernard any day.

hopkins is a great fighter but he is not as great as people think.
