Jermain Taylor should fight this man, not Lacy.

How sadly right you are my friend.

That's true about the Taylor, but Froch's heading into his 24th fight... surely his management could've worked harder to get him a fight in the U.S. or against a notable name before now, which would help him get on tv in the states. The circumstances might not be fair, but that is how you make a quick name for yourself in this business.

I don't think Froch's record is the problem, it's lack of exposure. His record is not much different from lots of other guys who got shots at titles or big money fighters, but nobody knows him in the market he's trying to break into, and you can't just expect to come in at the very top (a multimillion dollar fight on HBO against a former world champion) without having worked your way up.

If a fight goes to a purse bid and there isn't any demand for it in America, the British based promoter isn't going to stage it in America. He's going to stage it in England where he is accustomed to doing business.

No American promoter in his right mind would try to outbid a European promoter and throw more money at the fight than it is worth. So instead of worrying about that, I can understand why Taylor wants the more lucrative American fight than chancing going over to England.

Undeserved opportunity for Lacy, the same if Judah gets to Margarito.

Still be funny if Lacy somehow wins.

If Lacy wins, Taylor should consider retirement. And reconstructive surgery so as to never be recognized as the guy who got beat by Jeff Lacy.

                Imagine losing to Jeff Lacy.

That said I think the one-time 'New-Tyson' [(c) America] and potential future P4Per deserves his shot to get back in the bigtime.

Hasnt worked his way up? Last I heard he was the mandatory to the WBC Title.

Froch's promoter tried to get several big names at 168 to fight him when Inkin pulled out the first time including Kessler, Miranda and Berrio. He's been calling out Calzaghe and Taylor.

I just dont see how people can ask who he's fought when he's trying his hardest to fight big names.

Froch's team have already made several big money offers to Taylor to fight him in America.
