Calzaghe fans pimp the Eubank win

Okay, I know Eubank is a good fighter but hes not a great fighter by any means. Not only was his record blown up by fighting bums he was past his prime. The Eubank win was strictly a big name win and not a great victory.

      absolutely,

Calzaghe fans like to really blow up his victories,

Eubank was a good fighter in his time,

when Calzaghe fought him he was very much past his best,

        You're right.

I mean... He had 17 amateur fights and fought Calzaghe at 31.

Sure, of course he was shot.

Usually the Calzaghe haters go on about Eubank being so old at age 31.

If he was old at 31, then Joe must have been ancient at 34 when he beat Lacy, and had one foot in the grave at age 35 when he defeated Kessler!

The haters will post anything they can to discredit Joe.

            Yeah..

You do realise he was so in his prime that he only fought 2 times after Calzaghe?

That he never made 168 again?

            He was past it..

Carl Thompson says Eubank was shot.

Calzaghe hasn't been in the wars that Eubank was. Chris was still a good fighter at the time, but he was past his best.

People are never getting anywhere with this.

Calzaghe is pound 4 pound number 2 in here and eyes Pavlik after Jones, so lets see what happens, one fight at the time.

Btw. this topic is ridiculess, ofcourse Eubank was a good fight.
