I honestly doubt that Hatton could beat Cotto. In fact I am pretty sure Hatton wouldn't last 12 rounds with boxers like Judah,Quintana, or Mosley.

Have you watched Hatton's style agin his better opponents pre-Mayweather?

He doesn't "stand there and ****" at all.
He gets inside men and suffocates them with unclean but effective pressure.


You have to be composed enough to take your time and break what he does down.

Mayweather was always on a different level to Hatton for skill.

But he still needed his versatility and his wits to break Hatton's game down before beating him up in those rounds down the stretch.


Cotto doesn't have the versatility and know-how Mayweather does.

Nobody said **** about Hatton's chin before Mayweather checked it.

At 140 Hatton makes Cotto quit at 147 Cotto KO.
Hatton was at his best fighting Maussa and Tszyu, at 140 Cotto's chin wasn't good Hatton would use his superios footwork and clinching to work Cotto inside and smother him working Cotto's body and not giving him a second to breath whether it's by clinching or punches. He would wear Cotto down and frustrate him and proberbly drop him. At 147 Cotto is alot stronger and would KO Hatton.
