Hatton is much better at 140 and so would the fight. I'm sure Ricky would take the fight at 147, but a catch weight would be fairer. When was Cotto offered to Hatton at 140? Ricky has always wanted to fight Cotto.

          Negative.

          Cotto would demolish Hatton IMO.

Hatton is smaller than Cotto, im pretty sure he would'nt have that much of problem, but this fight won't happen, only because Hatton won't move up. He has no balls.

Didn't Corley, Torres and another couple fighters almost KO Cotto?

The kid has some cash in the bank and motivation is a big factor with Hatton. He wakes up for big fights and honestly Lazcano isnt much.

Hatton would do a Kosta to Cotto. No one can clinch like Hatton ,he punches in the process.Cotto struggles with his stamina,Hatton would rough him up,suffocate him, drag him to the deep end and leave him to drown.Anyone who watched that video can see Cotto had no answers to clinches.

                Miguel Cotto would destroy Hatton.

You are trying really hard to make Mayweather look good.

At 140, Hatton gets KOd in 5 rounds.

At 147, Hatton gets viciously knocked down as soon as Cotto lands his first combo, he will then proceed to be finished off as soon as the fight resumes.

Cotto BRUTAL KO in the first 3 minutes of the fight.
Hatton took Tszyu's power just fine and he has much more one punch power than Cotto, just ask Judah! Hatton also rarely gets hit with combos since he has quick feet and closes the distance too quick where he can disrupt a fighters rhythm and a quitter like Cotto would have trouble adjusting.

Ive never heard Hatton mention Cotto , but there was talk from people while Cotto was at 140 but not a whisper from the Hatton camp .

When you make statements like Hatton would make him quit its fairytale mentality full of conditions , the facts are that 140 is long gone and Cotto killed himself to make it back then and that means Cotto will never fight at 140 again thats why I said Hatton Gamboa at featherweight , pure fantasy , Ricky has lived of and milked the win over KT all the way to Floyd who utterly exposed him as a face first fighter , they have now both been beaten badly and if they were to fight in the future I would bet everthing I own Cotto would take Ricky apart .
