To answer your question, he is already P4p #1 on my list.

Beating Diaz means nothing seeing as Pacquiao lost by a good 1-2 points against Marquez.

Most definitely. I think it's a positive/negative thing. Positive for the old vets who still compete on such a high level, and negative for the young guns because as long as they vets stay around, their fame will be negated to a certain extent.

It's always been like this, for better or worse.

Calzaghe's combined record (amateur and pro) is 167-7 and he's undefeated in 20 years, all of his amateur losses were SD too. So he's never been decisively beaten.

                  Neither has Bernard Hopkins.

Roy Jones UD which even he admits was a comprehensive loss.

                    Taylor by SD then UD.

Calzaghe by SD which most saw as UD.

None were tremendously huge but often aren't. But I'd say they were comprehensive, clear wins.

Jones 7 rounds to 5, I don't quite consider that "comprehensive" or "clear".

The first Taylor fight nearly everybody agreed that Hopkins won. The second one, was a very close decision loss.

Against Calzaghe, myself and many othe rposters here had it 114-113, for Hopkins. As did Adalaide Byrd, Dan Rafael, Brian Kenny, ESPN, and the Associated Press.
