No the people that come to this site and criticize him do so because if he wants to claim he is better than SRR he needs to clean out the WW division or do something besides look really good against Baldomir and Gatti.

dont you understand if he cared about the WW division he would of clear it out...

This is part in reason why, if he comes back he is either going to 160 to fight felix sturm for his title...

      or

He is going to 140 to fight Manny Pacqauio...In which Manny Pacquaio already said he would love to fight floyd..

The only reason he went to WW...was to chase down De La Hoya..

This goes back to what I have always said since 140. He not interested in fighting the toughest challenges, only in making the biggest payday. Thats fine by me, but I can't consider someone the best who isn't fighting the best. That ain't hate, its just the way it is.

De La hoya wanted Mayweather status and Prestige.

But Mayweather knew the only way to make the fight happen was to moved to 147 or 154 and to leave Bob Arum.

Mayweather was about to leave the WW division after 1 fight...and go straight 154 (Oscar's division)
So you do admit that "Money" Mayweather was broke as a joke and needed De La Hoya to bail him out.
Those court cases do get to you.. he was constantly on the news over here about having smacked a ***** up and having to settle out of court, etc.
he couldn't even afford the lifestyle he wanted people to presume he had:

              http://www.usatoday.com/sports/boxin...***elers_x.htm

This is why I find it funny now when people like to brag about what he's got and diss De La Hoya.. if it wasn't for De La Hoya he would still be desperate trying to get out of his money problems.

Floyd climbed through these weightclasses with a summit in mind.

That summit was De La Hoya @ 154.

Let the artisans slug it out for single division "supremacy". Floyd is a artist.

                Like Luciano said yesterday:

                Floyd is a Picasso.

If he paint another masterpiece --- it should be a middleweight title.

Why would he go after Sturm at Middleweight when he could go after Pavlik or Abraham?

Oh, because both would knock him out if they landed. Both too big.

                    Ok.

So why even fight at Middleweight if you're not going to fight the best?

                    Just to gain the title?

Then the title is meaningless. Just a belt.

Fans shouldn't measure fighters by the amount of belts they have, but by who they fought. The WW division is on fire right now. The biggest fights are right there.

No, Floyd made brief stops after 130. He never climbed through.

That summit was De La Hoya @ 154.
The summit was the biggest payday, not the toughest challege.

Lol, yup give Floyd a free pass because he's Floyd. Don't the rest of you fools know that that is how greatness is attained?

Did you just called Floyd a 17th century Italian ****sexual?

Anything to avoid the best welterweights, I guess.
