JCC was a bit overated i think based on overlooking his record .. it seemed like he lost to all of the elite fighters he faced .. ray robinson smokes him they're gonna have to pull the leather off his face

JCC was crap as a welterweight. He has zero wins over any top 20 boxers in that division. Robinson was the best welterweight ever. I don't care how many fools vote for Chavez, this is a mismatch.

I made this thread to compare two of the greatest boxers in History. I don't have any intentions behind it. Just comparing to ATG boxers, you don’t know how ****ING MUCH I respect JJC.

You should compare JC Chavez to fighters who were his size, like Mayweather, Arguello, Pryor and others.

Chavez was at his best as a super featherweight/lightweight/light welterweight.

I imagine this fight would not be a very competitive contest, Robinson really has all the advantages here.

Chavez fought at least on top ten welterw that i recall the commentators saying he was ranked #7 and yes, it was a tune up fight for Chavez. I have the video where the commentators mention his opponets ranking at welterweight and this was a stay active fight for Chavez.
