He beat Edison Miranda, his biggest win, after he had been knocked out by Kelly Pavlik. Thats not a P4P achievement, thats exercising a personal grudge.

who cares... if the old worn out Hopkins gets 4th, then Abraham.. undefeated and in his prime should be at the bottom of that list at least.

Hopkins is not shot, he's still good, got beaten in a UD by the #2 really. He's not top 5 p4p though, let's be realistic.

I think Cotto being so high shows he may have been to highly pinned p4p for a fairly young ish fighter, the same as Pavlik, compared with the other guys and there more extensive achievements.

So that's how I explain dropping 4 places, same would happen to Pavlik if he lost to Nard. So imo their both slightly too highly pinned for such young guys, especially considering Abraham and Kessler shouldn't be far behind.

There's no way JMM is #2, despite his last fight being close he still lost the fight and Calzaghe has just beaten a string of great opponents so he deserves his #2 spot so JMM has to be #3 at the highest.

Beating a guy like Edison Miranda wouldn't even register on the top 15 accomplishments of Bernard Hopkins. Abraham hasn't defended his title in America, all he did was beat a guy who he had already beaten. And you're going to say that Abraham should be above Hopkins? Please, in his prime Hopkins would have snatched Abraham's paper belt in five rounds or less.

Abraham isn't even the best guy in his division right now.

Hopkins will stay there or be gone after his performance with Pavlik.

Hops was at number 4 before he fought Calzaghe...you can't just dump a number 4 out of the top ten just because of one close loss. He defeated Tarver (who was in top ten during that time) and Winky (who was top 3 at that time). People have bad memories...........then if they don't know they blame DLH who has no bearing in the opinions of the RING magazine. (Even if he's the owner)

BHOP should be dropped out, he lost his last fight and fights only once a year. Pavlik shoud be ahead of Margarito.

                  Great job for Mexican fighters.

never said he should be in front of Hopkins... but could make the bottom of that list.

To me Hopkins is DONE... just like RJJ, Trinidad, DLH, Winky, and other old school guys that put on fights to milk their name for some more money...

we need the new fresh blood to step in... as was the case with Cotto vs. Margarito, perhaps Pavlik vs. Abraham ... guys now in their prime that have more to fight for than just money.

You can't stay at #4 if you lose a fight.
