You're asking questions that have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Your idea of debate in this thread has been to ask questions and maneuver the discussion further and further away from actual points in an attempt to receive some sort of concession from me on some irrelevant point.

The double standard people hold to PBF is absurd. Ask of Floyd what you're asking any of the fighters in the division and they'll all fail the same test.

You attempt to mock me for not making points, yet this whole thing is stemmed from something my 1 simple point: Floyd had as much right (or a little more than) any other title holder at 147 at the time of his retirement to claim he was the top dog... until recently nobody had separated themselves anymore so than anybody else except you could argue Cotto built him a tiny bit better resume at WW compared to the others.

You can ask questions until your fingers fall off but the bottom line is the same I listed before: He didn't fight them and you're not Floyd so all you have is speculation into his actions while you attempt to veil your hate.
You make ridiculous assumptions. How can he be the number one guy at welterweight with Judah, Baldomir, Mitchell, and Hatton? He wouldn't fight any top contender in the division outside of Judah who lost to Baldomir lol. My point is you have no right to say your the best if you refuse to fight the best, if there is a champ there before you and you want to be the best show it. I think Mayweather is a terrific and again I think he beat pretty much anyone, but until he proves otherwise he is not the number one guy. You have to be the others especially guys that were a champs in the division before you to prove you are number 1. Your achievements at 130 and 135 do not pertain to 147. I am not saying that he can't beat Margarito, I don't think Floyd has ever faced anyone like Margarito, who will jog to catch up and throw 100 punches a round every round. Margarito has a better chance then most fighters because of his work rate, which acts as his defense as well.

Again to be number one you best take out the other king pins(who were there before you) especially if you are going to consider yourself with guys like Robinson and Leonard. Those guys ducked no one. He has no right to compare himself with those guys.

Well there aren't a whole lot of linear, unified champions in boxing right now... so I guess that means there are basically no "bests" right now at WW.

This is exactly what I mean by the double standard. Floyd can't call himself the best... but nobody else in the division meets those standards... so there's no best in the WW division? I'm sorry, I can't convince myself to think something that ****** even for the sake of an argument.

You were the first one to take this off topic not me. You started throwing Cotto and Baldomir in there with Judah. We weren't comparing you were going over achievements. Mayweather would be facing a much stronger fighter in his prime with a narley beard and he ducked him.

The best isn't one specific person it is all the challengers, I am not specifically choosing Margarito, I listed off other fighters which you chose to ignore but good for you.

You drag the argument away. Then it goes in a direction you can't win then you bring it back? Come on.

Man you are so ****** it is ****ed ridiculous, I am tired of wasting my time.

            Peace out I'm gone

Have you ever heard the old saying ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THEN WORDS. He could have cleaned up the division took out any contenders including this easy Margarito fight, but he didn't/wouldn't. The biggest name in the division he could have fought anyone, there were plenty of fighters foaming at the mouth for him.

You know the only reason Floyd went to 147 was to chase a fight with De la hoya...

Floyd was about to leave the WW division after 1 fight. (Mitchell)

He was about to go straight to 154(where oscar was at) to fight Spinks....But the fight did not materialize because of lack of interest. and Spinks demanding to much.

So he decided to fight the Winner of the baldomir/Judah Fight which he thought ultimately would be Judah. In which he would set up a Big fight with Judah to see who was the baddest of their era...

Judah lost, but the fight still happen because of the fight still sparked alot of interest. After Judah. People try to discredit that win and said Floyd should of fought the man that beat Judah. So Floyd Decide to do so

So decided to fight Baldomir to see who the real welther weight champion was .a fight in which everybody thought would be his riskiest fight for the Lineal Welterweight title.

After that Fight, He got his dream Fight with Oscar De La Hoya.and then Retired.

But then Popular UNDEFEATED number # 6 p4p call him out to fight.
In which was going to be at 140. But Hatton didnt want to put up his belt. So the fight was place at 147.

So if you look at Sequences of events...You would know Floyd really never gave a **** about the WW division, He was first chasing Oscar....And then Could not pass up an Opportunity to Knock out a very popular undefeated fighter in Ricky Hatton.

But anyone who is a player at 147, is fighting other quality, high caliber opponents.

Floyd hasn't. Everyone else is proving it against each other.
                  Floyd retired.
