Mate, i'm from the Uk, it ain't a racist thing like you're suggesting. The fact is, Margarito is a limited one-dimensional fighter with 5 losses to his name and limited potential.

Cotto on the other hand is a multi-dimensional fighter with 1 loss to his name and the potential to carry boxing on his back for years. in short, he's boxing's great hope.

Margarito won the fight but Cotto dominated it until he got tired.

Not to take anything away from Margarito, but that's basically it in a nutshell what the writers and critics are talking about. If the roles were reversed and Margarito was the undefeated guy on the come up I guarantee the same would go for Margarito. It has nothing to do with race.

But I do agree that Margarito should get more shine than he's getting, I can't deny that.
