So I go to Boxingscene.com and on the front page i see an analysis of how Cotto should beat Margarito in a rematch? Why do they even let these fools write stuff like this ? why can't you accept the fact Margarito beat to a bloody pulp Miguel Cotto?Why are you trying to discredit a man that just beat an undefeated fighter? show some class will ya? I am sorry but Cotto lost fair and square he got beat up with body shots which tired him down then got a broken nose because no Margarito wasn't lucky he just Broke him down , I see some fans saying even there was a video on youtube that if it wasn't for the broken nose that he got lucky? Lucky? Common now , How can somebody be lucky when their applying pressure the whole fight and throwing that left uppercut? it was nothing new to the fans that Margarito would throw that left uppercut all night long to cottos face.

So I welcome you to have the rematch , it would play out like Cintron Margarito 2 in my opinion, You Seem to focus on what Cotto did wrong, and not what Margarito did that broke Cotto down. I believe Cotto was doing everything he could he even said it himself gameplan A,b and C didnt work and I couldnt hit him to the body.

The thing should be what can Cotto do to not get koed again ? and what Cotto can do to not get ruined down the stretch as a Great fighter.

If its one thing to be learned here is that Margarito broke down Cotto and It is a bad matchup for Cotto no matter what he does, and you like it or not Margarito did everything to break Cotto down, Something that i can say 32 opponents couldn't do ! not to mention he gave Cottos first loss and pounding .

strong post... people cant accept that margarito beat cotto. Cotto has better boxing abillities, margarito is a stronger fighter. The two different styles mix and the result is that margarito managed to dominate towards the end of the fight. Theres nothing cotto or any of his fans can do about it now. So just accept the fact that :

1. You got a great fight
2. Cotto is still p4p material
3. there will be a chance of rematch

dont trip man. It's the same people that said he had no chance in the first fight! ten out of ten times margarito will outpower, out hustle, and hunt cotto down! There is nothing that cotto can do to beat up margarito. I mean he can throw a punch and take off running if he wants to try to do that.

first of all i am a pacnuthugger. but i bought this fight because i knew it would be a great fight. fights like this should be what boxing is all about. i like cotto because he got this charisma on him. he got more exposure than margarito but i knew that margarito is a tough tough fighter. as much as i liked cotto when i saw the countdown i knew margarito would win. i knew it was his time. margarito won and i give him all the respect. but that doesn't mean i dont like cotto. this are the fighters that i love to watch. i may not be that hardcore boxing fan but that doesn't matter. this guys will save boxing.

They'll be quick to take everything and anything away from us, not just us but anyone.

I mean imagine if Mexico didn't supply ESPN and the lowerweight divisions cab drivers for opponents early in their career? Imagine if Mexico only let their best fight. lol People wouldn't front on us like they do. If we made sure only our best fighters went into the ring like other countries, they wouldn't be able to front on us like this. But at the same time, these cab drivers wouldn't be able to feed themselves lol

Mate, i'm from the Uk, it ain't a racist thing like you're suggesting. The fact is, Margarito is a limited one-dimensional fighter with 5 losses to his name and limited potential.

Cotto on the other hand is a multi-dimensional fighter with 1 loss to his name and the potential to carry boxing on his back for years. in short, he's boxing's great hope.
