How does Cotto crush Floyd? I barely see any advantages anywhere that Cotto could have over Floyd. I just think Floyd boxes him to a very easy decision. Cotto would win very few rounds I think.

OK so I've rewatched the fight acouple times now. Basically it's like this. Cotto played on the backfoot ala Floyd. He stuck on the ropes and countered effectively, ala Floyd. Cotto hits with POWER, unlike Floyd. Cotto is decently fast, Floyd abit faster but this doesn't matter. So now when Floyd attempts the exact same thing Cotto did, except with less power, brittle ***** hands, wtf will he do when Margarito hits anything he can on Floyd? He'll go to the body, the head, the side, uppercuts, everything. Floyd can block a decent amount, but not for a full 12 rounds. Muchless, the power Margarito brings is unlike anything he's felt for 12 rounds. I'm convinced Margarito would easily wear Floyd out just as he did Cotto except give Floyd less respect due to his lack of power.

LOL Floyd would box circles around Tony, he is a better boxer that Cotto, has better defense, stamina, footwork and throws cleaner, more effective punches.

they would both box each all nite(floyd being the better boxer obviously) the only difference is cotto who has the stronger punches would apply his constant endless pressure which would work floyd down. plain and simple. zab started great but didnt finish, cotto would finish and it would be a whole new story thats for sure.



ps. floyd punches wouldnt even phase cotto where as cottos punches would do vice versa
