Styles make fights. Cotto and PBF are 2 different fighters. What happened in Cotto-Tony can't be used as a gauge to what would happen in PBF-Tony. But what would happen is irrelevant right now cuz PBF retired. What is relevant is that Cotto has a Margarito loss on his record cuz he fought Margarito. PBF ain't got a Margarito win on his record cuz he refused to fight Margarito.

I think Mayweather shouldn't fight out of the pocket against Margarito in that fight because even if Margarito isn't hitting Floyd in the right places (body,head) he'll be hitting Floyd's arms, chest etc. and doing it often which would even tire Floyd out eventually. If he does it he should do it occasionally

Floyd would have a very good chance against Margarito and I would have him a reasonable favourite going in. He has the defensive skills that Cotto lacks to nulify a great deal of Margarito's offense. I am not saying that Margarito would not be able to hit him but he definately would not be able to hit him enough to stop him or win the rounds necessary to take a decision IMO. It is important to remember that Floyd is a far superior boxer to Miguel Cotto and I think this would give him a significant edge over Margarito.

The one thing i think that got to cotto was that when he stepped to his left off of the ropes, tony threw a straight right.
hit him every time and Cotto kept doing it instead of flurrying off of the ropes like he should of.
I think that won tony the fight to be honest.

I do honestly think that PBF just toys with tony like he did Corrales.
