So now when Floyd attempts the exact same thing Cotto did, except with less power, brittle ***** hands, wtf will he do when Margarito hits anything he can on Floyd? He'll go to the body, the head, the side, uppercuts, everything. Floyd can block a decent amount, but not for a full 12 rounds. Muchless, the power Margarito brings is unlike anything he's felt for 12 rounds. I'm convinced Margarito would easily wear Floyd out just as he did Cotto except give Floyd less respect due to his lack of power.
I am seriously shocked that anybody could post this trash. I don't know anything about you, but if you've been posting here for over four years, you can't really believe boxing works like this

Mayweather would win everything Cotto had success with up to the 6th Mayweather is almost twice as good at. Power is almost irrelevant because neither Cotto or Mayweather can drop or hurt Margarito. Infact Mayweather is problerbly more likely to Knock Margs down if he is off balance (a flash KD)

Mayweather moves better than Cotto, has better defense, more stamina, more speed. He would potshot Margarito all night en route to a Boring UD.

I actually think Floyd would be Margarito. In order to beat Margarito, you have to have incredible speed, intelligence, stamina, defensive skills, and accuracy. Floyd would do what Cotto did early on, but better and for the whole fight. A master boxer like Mayweather would beat Margarito. I still think Cotto can win a rematch though.

And Mayweather can relax with his back against the ropes. Don't forget that.

Mayweather is more elusive, way better defensively and has better lateral movement than Cotto. Margarito wouldn't touch him and would get tagged all night.

              Mayweather UD.

ROFL! Did I post this at a time that every Floyd fan on the forum was looking? LoL! Oh well, i'm not sorry, it's the truth. Floyd was so smart to retire now, or he'd be brutalized by a real champion.

Mayweather would win very easily against Margarito. Cotto has a better chance against Floyd.
