I hate Margarito, but jesus wow

This was my card. Cotto I think was winning this fight easy in my opinion. I couldn't believe people had this a draw going in. Cotto was landing clean effective blows and Margarito was landing the kind that hurt, but they weren't landing all the way. Margarito might have won the 6th.

I mean I'll give credit to Margarito, he was effective, but he was not winning. I'd love to see a rematch.

    Other thoughts:

    - I'm not going to be like "Cotto sucks" he didn't run he did what he had to do to try and win. Margarito has average skill, but probably the best chin I've ever seen. My god, Cotto hit him with like 5 shots in a row and Margarito was just like "Lol I'm gonna KO you in round 11"

    - I still don't like Margarito and feel he would lose to cotto in a rematch, Williams, and Mayweather. He put on a good knockout. I want to say he's average, but he's not. I wouldn't say great, but he's an elite welterweight fighter.

-Cotto + body = oh wait. He never went there. What the **** cotto?

-Really sad to see Lampley and Steward crying. Lampley was going to and Steward was almost going to. Their favorite boxer got crushed.

-Cotto needs to cut that pernell whitaker **** out, but he had the right idea of boxing and he was winning easily. Mayweather would have shut Margarito out.

-I'm still in awe about Margarito's chin. Don't know if I've made that clear yet.

-I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty bummed out right now, especially after seeing Lamps and Steward looking like they were going to cry. I'd probably cry if Hopkins got KOd though. I'm man enough to admit that.

-So I lost 15k on the fight, but gained 15k because it wasn't Fight of the year (bull**** to anyone who says other wise) and mr. grey hair and grey beard who has no name wasn't there.

I'm rewatching it now, we'll see if it's the same. Like I said Margarito's punches were going threw Cotto's gloves and they were partialy blocked, while Cotto was landing cleanly and just as often. Margarito wasn't cutting off the ring and it wasn't effective agression.

I had Cotto ahead 6-4 going into the 11th round. I thought he continued to land terrific shots throughout the fight, there were just spots where Margarito would go to work on the ropes when Miguel could no longer move away.

I had Cotto winning 5 of the first 6 and a random round (9 or 10 maybe) after that. Hell of a match to score though. Cotto was plainly outboxing him, he just couldn't outlast him.

Your comments are good. Your scorecard, not so much. When you watch the replay you'll notice how biased Lampley's blow by blow account was. He has a total blind spot for the HBO housefighters.

I dont even want to add up my scoring right now because I'm pretty bummed, but I had Cotto ahead in the 11th, but I think it was even or by one point. There were a couple or three early rounds that could have went either way.

I hate Tony also, but I hate Cotto more. After Margarito scorched my boy Kermit (for the second damn time) I pretty accepted that he was the new last best hope to KO Miguel. And at least tonight he made good.
