Once PACMAN Retires Filipino boxing is Done.

They had pancho villa guillerdo{sp), Flash elorde, and Pacman. But a great filipino fighter only comes around once in a blue moon probably will not see a top guy from the PI for another 15-20 years.

Look this is not to bash the filipino boxers
but Mexico has so many champions and world class guys, so does puerto rico.

But the filipinos cannot seem to get any other decent prospects to that level. They must lack some sorta top level training or maybe they do not have what it takes the in ring smarts like penalosa and pacman to follow a game plan and look for openings.

I notice many of them just throw punches with textbook style they do not look for openings or time their shots they just throw punches at the gloves and body to see if one lands while backing away after throwing them.

    Rodel mayol
    Randy Suico
    boom boom bautista
    Aj Banal
    And countless others.

Next to Fall is that kid Ironman Bernabe Concepcion tongiht maybe?

ah I forgot about that kid, he is so under promoted and hasnt fought in 1 year thats why I forgot about him. But that kid is really smart and has good skills unlike those filipino fighters from overseas.
                But isn't he Filipino American?
Maybe he will just turn out to be another Brian Viloria a huge promise but big let down.
