I think Roach is behind this since he knows pacman's days are numbered. He figures now is his best chance to get a good payday before Pacman loses and then can's his ass!!! I thought Roach had more class than that but I must be wrong!

That is absolutely my feeling about it. De La Hoya knows this isn't going to be a fight for him! He's trying to take the attention away from the fact that he hasn't attempted to contact Margarito or Cotto. This makes no sense to me. He claims he wants to fight the best yet he picks a guy who is at least 2 weight classes below him . He then proceeds to meet this guy at the weight limit of the two best guys in the 147. This is complete lunacy and smoke screens at it's best.

...Freddie Roach has gone to the darkside...he's selling out "his fighter" for money...there's no way in hell that Manny can handle Oscar and for Roach to keep pushing this he's more concerned with the money then what's best for his fighter...the size difference is just too much at this point...let's all say a prayer for Manny...

...agreed...it's like Klitchko fighting RJJ...both are good fighters but the general rule in 1vs1 combat (boxing, MMA, street fighting, etc) is "a good big man will beat a good little man"...in the cases where a fighter jumps up a weight or 2 and beats different fighters it's "a better little man beating a lesser big man"...I have lost my respect for Roach and Oscar at this point...Manny's ****ed in my opinion...
