Actually man, you got it backwards. Cotto has the speed and I'd give Margarito the power. ****, Cotto was matching Mosley for handspeed which is shocking considering how tank-like and big Cotto's physique looks. I also agree with what the article says. Cotto will be the deciding factor on how this goes. Margarito has one thing and that's going forward throwing punches. How Cotto decides to deal with that is what makes this match exciting. He can try boxing but as they say a lot of times with Pacquiao fights, sooner or later, your gonna have to fight him, you can't just box him for a full 12 rounds. There's no way in hell.

Compare the records of both men on www.boxerec.com Cottos is far superior.
This fight is all hype...cant wait for the excuses next week...there are bigger fish to fry than margarito out there and Cotto has the frypan.
theres at least a half dozen on Cottos defeated list that could account for Margarito...but full respect for him having a go against Cotto...its not like hes doing it for the money...pffft
But honestly hope its a great fight and good luck to both men.

Whoever made the comment "look at their records" is a complete ignorant. This will be an EASY fight for Margarito. Cotto can't even hurt Malignaggi or Mosley. The only way Margarito loses is if he falls over from laughing at how weak Cotto's punches are. Cotto will get beaten in a brutal, humiliating fashion and get knocked out senseless.

Funny thing about this article is how it flips at the end. It praises both guys for their gifts. It also points out their flaws. It praises Margarito for his ability to rally late. It points out that Cotto when pressed late, tends to weaken as evidenced in the Mosley fight. then the prediction goes totally opposite to what the article previously stated. It says that Cotto will rally late and Margarito will be the one that folds... Huh?!?! So basically throw all the logic of the previous several paragraphs out and come to some illogical conclusion!!

I have no problem with folks if they predict Cotto to win. The justification for the prediction here is contradictory to everything else written in the article.

Well if we consider those compubox stats, this will lead you to false predictions..

As I have seen some of tough fight of Cooto against Zab, Mosley, Abdulaev, Malignaggi, and his fight against Torres, etc. He has some weaknessess out there that will make him lose the fight.

I watch the Cotto vd Zab as I see in the first round of the match Cotto was almost send to dreamland that time, He is brave enought to hit Zab below the belt to recover... not once but twice he did that to Zab, that's why Zab was totally ran out of gas during that late rounds due to low blows..

But talking Margarito vs Cotto I think Cotto will going to eat all his asss because Magarito is very fast and furious in terms ot skill. and for all those who don't know yet that Margarito never lose by KO. but he lose is fight by UD Technical Descision.

I will go for Magarito by 7 round KO and Cotto will be send to dreamland....
