It's not impossible, but it's unlikely.
Povetkin is a machine. He's a gold medalist and has fought tremendous competition out of the box at HW. He's lost maybe two rounds in his career, and earned his ranking the hard way. Klitschko is an impossible match for him, but I wouldn't pick him to lose to many people.
He's active, skilled, and fights the same from bell to bell. I don't think Haye wants to be in a twelve round war with a legit HW like PovetkinComment

Fair enough. I did look at his resume on boxrec a while ago and was very impressed by his level of opposition this early in his career. If he has a high work rate he could beat Haye for sure, as long as his chin holds up to Hayes power. It's not impossible, but it's unlikely.

I don't think Haye would beat Wlad. He might be able to beat Povetkin, but that would be a good fight. I still don't buy Haye waltzin into HW and punkin every fighter he faces. Povetkin could give him a solid test.Comment

My boy Haye would knock him out. Povetkin rushes head in first, he would get knocked out.
All though, Povetkin does have some pop in his punches, he has so far shown a very very good chin and has got good handspeed to trouble Haye. But I think Hayes punching power, his quickness and his athletism would win him the fight in the end. Povetkin would be too open.. Haye could counter him with big right hands all night.Comment
