There really is no need for an excuse, since he won a wide decision anyway!

But I've seen all his fights except for one, and believe me, he was far from his best that night.

it actually really doesn't mather to me who is better haye or povetkin. as long as europeans keep beating up americans it's fine by me. I just like haye's style more so i hope he wins if they fight.

Exactly! I've been saying this all along.

I can only imagine how many Hayemakers he'll be able to take.

                  Maybe.

My point was just that the post was clearly biased.

As a pro, he's easily defeated all of his first 16 opponents, and never even been knocked down in a fight. He has fast hands, fine technical skills, a high work rate, decent power and excellent stamina.

I think Povetkin is an all-round better fighter than David Haye. He's also a man of stronger character and a better sport.
I really would like to see this fight.

                      Same here.

Would be a very good fight. Maybe they could fight and the winner gets Wlad or something. A bit more experience for Povetkin or a good intro to the division for Haye depending on the winner.
