Haye would land the first big shot. Depends if Povetkin could take it?

It doesn't make sense anyway - why would anyone want to duck a cruiserweight to fight bigger, stronger heavyweights?

Do you really believe everything Haye says?
Povetkin and Haye were the same size....
His opinion would rank about a Billion times higher than yours bearing in mind he is an Undisputed World Champion and a former World silver medalist in the amateurs.
What have you done to make anyone believe your horse**** is of any more value?
You ONLY ever talk highly about Eastern European fighters or Immigrants who fight under the german flag or promotions.

      Exactly. so Haye>Tunney.
You post on a "Boxing Forum".
WHich is riddled with yank kids who can't be objective or critical of their fighterrs as they are brainwashed into the "American Dream".

      America **** yeah!!!

IMO Tunney is perhaps THE most knowledgeable poster regarding the heavyweight scene. He knows a lot even about lower ranked contenders.

I think Povetkin is an all-round better fighter than David Haye. He's also a man of stronger character and a better sport.
have you seen povetkin in his last two fights against the two headcases sykes and chambers? this guy wouldnt even be rated in previous era.
i don't go in for all of hayes jive hype about himself but think povetkins plodding staying infront of you style is just what the doctor ordered for hype hayes!
          haye by decision.

            That's true...

But why didn't Haye fight at super-heavyweight, where there's more fame and glory? And as a pro, at heavyweight where there's much more money?

Instead Haye weight-drained down to below 200 and fought smaller men! I say he was ducking the bigger punchers, because of his delicate chin. He still is doing it - he won't take a heavyweight fight, but he's calling out Wlad. Seems to me he wants to cash out, since he can't make 200 anymore and he knows his weak chin won't be competitive in the heavyweight division!

American fans only show pride for american boxers just like europeans and former soviet countries show pride for their boxers. So what wrong with tunney only talking highly about fighters from his country?
