How well does Calzaghe have to beat Jones for you not to discredit him?

If this was the RJJ in his prime years the JC gets props win or lose BUT this is an old RJJ and the general feeling is that he will win. IMO he should be taking more challenging fights rather than looking for the dollar bill. Thats my bug bear with boxers today, especially champs who have earned their corn and are rich anyway, why not take challenging fights to more establish their legacy?
Im not implying that RJJ wont be a challenge but i fully expect him to come away with the win.Comment

Another one obsessed with ****sexual references in all their posts. Disturbing.
I never said Jones was or wasnt shot. Either way, its an opinion and you cant force yours on anybody especially with the bull**** you come out with.
Maybe Jones is shot. Or maybe if he'd taken a few more risks in his "prime" then those knockouts would've come earlier.
Is Jones at the peak of his powers? No. Is Calzaghe? No. Is Jones still a great boxer with the talent to win the fight? No doubt.
Will Calzaghe be considered "shot" by you if he loses to Jones?
By the way, Who's "you guys"? Still got your knickers in a twist over the Brits dont ya? Funny as ****.
Paranoid sensitive ******* losers resort to strawmen. Yes, obviously it must be that I hate the Brits if I think you're a paranoid douche. Good job on avoiding the issue.
If you think Jones is NOT shot, then well you don't know what you're talking about it. Keep imagining the Jones never took "risks" in his prime and that he would have been KOed back then. Probably makes you feel better about your llove of all British fighters and nothing else.Comment

And that fight would have been just a sustained humiliation if it had continued.
Ask him to point out any other JC fights that had "fake" KOs. I bet he can't.Comment

Let's be honest, Calzaghe won't get ANY credit for this fight (not on Boxingscene anyway, If Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins didn't get credit), but thats not what I'm asking.
How well does Calzaghe have to do against Jones for this fight not to DISCREDIT him.
The Hopkins fight kinda turned out a bit bad for him, e.g "even a 43 yr old Hopkins gave him a close fight".
So will it be this after the Jones fight "Even a 39 yr old Jones who was way past prime and had been KO'd twice could take Calzaghe the distance".
I'll put up a poll
You are crazy and the above has officially rendered this thread useless.Comment

I haven't seen every KO in Joe's career, but I've yet to see a 'fake' one. You are right on Manfredo it could have been let go, but really, what would have been the point?Comment
